Director of Sales

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Sales who will lead Onform’s go-to-market strategy, expand our footprint across elite and amateur sports in both private and academic markets, and build a scalable, predictable revenue engine.

Your mission is to drive meaningful adoption of Onform’s platform across sports organizations, academic programs, professional teams, training centers, and youth development ecosystems. You will also lead the strategy and execution for selling hardware bundled with our software, establishing a complete and differentiated solution for customers seeking integrated performance and feedback systems.

While managing our sales team you will shape our sales strategy, refine our messaging, build and manage the sales pipeline, secure key partnerships, and help us craft a world-class customer journey from first contact through long-term success.

This role will report directly to the CEO.

What you will do

  • Build and own Onform’s end-to-end sales strategy including segmentation, targeting, outreach, qualification, demoing, closing, and expansion.
  • Motivate, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve personal growth and company goals.
  • Establish scalable sales processes, playbooks, and performance metrics to support future growth and additional team members.
  • Create and manage a predictable sales pipeline using data-driven methods for forecasting, reporting, and pipeline prioritization.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities with professional teams, national sporting organizations, schools, academies, and training facilities.
  • Lead the commercialization of hardware plus software bundles including pricing strategy, positioning, sales motions, and channel development.
  • Partner closely with product, marketing and customer success teams to align customer needs with product capabilities and close the feedback loop that drives roadmap decisions.
  • Develop compelling sales narratives, demo flows, and ROI stories that clearly articulate the value of Onform’s platform and integrated hardware solutions.
  • Represent Onform at industry events, conferences, and in both virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Drive strategic partnerships and channel relationships that amplify brand presence and extend market reach.
  • Guide customers through onboarding and early adoption in collaboration with Customer Success to maximize retention, upsell opportunities, and long-term satisfaction.

What you will bring

  • At least 6 to 10 years of experience in B2B and B2C SaaS sales, ideally within sports technology, coaching, performance, or closely related fields.
  • A proven track record of building and managing a sales team, pipelines, and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience selling into sports organizations such as teams, federations, colleges, or academies is a strong plus.
  • Experience selling integrated hardware and software solutions or physical device bundles is highly valuable.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling, solution discovery, and ROI-based value propositions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to clearly convey technical or complex products to non-technical audiences.
  • High ownership mentality with a bias for action, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience running webinars, demos, managing and writing proposals, and building structured, repeatable sales processes.
  • Able to operate in a quickly changing, fast-paced, high-accountability environment with minimal bureaucracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Salary range 110k-150k + Bonus
