Onform Launches Multi-Cam MAX, Bringing Fixed-Camera Video Capture to the iPad Wirelessly

For Immediate Release

Multi-Cam MAX gives golf coaches wireless access to their fixed cameras from anywhere in their facility, right from their iPad.

Onform, the leading mobile video coaching platform for coaches, announced the launch of Multi-Cam MAX, a studio solution that enables video from fixed cameras to be viewed wirelessly on an iPad running the Onform app.

For coaches working in multi-bay academies and indoor facilities, fixed cameras have always meant being stuck at a desk at the back of the hitting bay. Multi-Cam MAX changes that. Coaches can now connect to any bay’s cameras, view multiple camera angles wirelessly on their iPad, and move freely through their facility without leaving the Onform app

“I’m able to zoom in, grab different cameras, and get everything I want at a moment’s notice. I can finally do it indoors in the studio where I couldn’t do that before.” Jeff Smith, Director of Instruction at Vintage Club

Multi-Cam MAX supports up to four synchronized camera angles, captures at frame rates up to 500 fps, and works with OptiTrack, FLIR, and IDS, cameras. If you already have fixed cameras, simply upgrade to MCM to take advantage of wireless connectivity.

Because it relies on the Onform tools they use and love today, including drawing tools, side-by-side comparisons, 3D data and visualizations for golf, and slow motion playback there is no difference in workflow when using fixed cameras or the camera on your iPad. The key technology of Multi-Cam MAX is the Onform Camera Connector app which runs on a PC connected to the fixed cameras via ethernet or USB, which then relays the fixed camera video wirelessly to your existing Onform app.

Multi-Cam MAX scales from a single coach in a one-bay studio to a full staff spread across multiple bays. At $499 per bay per year, the subscription is shared across all coaches in an organization and students can even connect to fixed cameras for recording during practice sessions. Each coach (or student) simply needs an active Onform account.

Coaches in indoor studios have long relied on outdated workflows, recording in one system and exporting videos into Onform just to share with students. Multi-Cam MAX changes that with a professional wireless multi-camera solution built for studio use. Fixed cameras work just like the iPad camera in the Onform app: light-switch easy, perfectly frame-synced, sharable across staff, and economically priced for a single-bay studio to a large academy. It’s one reliable system for recording indoors or out, with cutting-edge functionality in a single platform.” Gear Fisher, co-founder, Onform

Early installations are already live at premier golf facilities across the country. Onform provides the software, white-glove onboarding and ongoing support, and for facilities starting from scratch, complete camera and equipment packages to get up and running.
