As athletes at heart, the team here at Onform is anxiously awaiting the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony later this week. While we often focus on some of our most popular sports – golf, track & field, baseball, softball, and swimming – this is a great opportunity to highlight a few others. In the spirit of the upcoming Olympics, we did a quick analysis and found that coaches are using Onform across every single Olympic sport. Yes, from fencing to breakdancing, tennis to volleyball, and synchronized swimming to archery, tens of thousands of coaches use Onform’s video analysis tools every day to improve their athletes’ performance and perfect their form.

Paris 2024 Coach Spotlight: Gary Aldrich and More

And Gary isn’t the only one. Several of our coaches are either coaching the U.S. team or have athletes competing in the games, and we couldn’t be more excited for them. We intentionally designed Onform to be simple enough for local club or high school teams, while still being advanced enough for coaches to use at the highest levels in sport, like the Olympic Games.

A Universal Tool for Every Sport

First, the sports you see us talk about all the time:

  • Swimming: Slow-motion playback and frame-by-frame analysis allows coaches to provide detailed feedback on starts, turns, and stroke mechanics to shave off those critical seconds.

Beyond the Spotlight Sports

  • Basketball: Using short-form video to break down dribbling, shooting, and defensive techniques, helping players fine-tune their skills and improve court performance.
  • Fencing: Precision and timing are critical in fencing, and Onform allows coaches to review bouts frame-by-frame, helping fencers perfect their thrusts and parries.
  • Gymnastics: With the ability to break down complex routines, coaches can provide gymnasts with detailed insights to further improve their technique and execution to maximize the points scored.
  • Volleyball: Both indoor and beach volleyball teams use Onform to improve their serves, spikes, and defensive maneuvers for a more cohesive and effective play.
  • Tennis: Coaches use Onform to analyze serve mechanics, footwork, and rally strategies, providing players with the insights needed to outplay their opponents on the court.

And that’s just a few. Archery, wrestling, synchronized swimming, breakdancing—Onform is there, supporting athletes and coaches in their journey to the top of their sport.

Supporting Every Sport in Paris 2024

As we get closer to the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics, we remain committed to our mission of providing top-tier video analysis tools that cater to the unique needs of every sport, at every level, and any budget. We believe that by empowering coaches with the right tools, we can help athletes achieve their true potential, regardless of their sport.

Good luck in Paris, coaches and athletes! We can’t wait to cheer you on.
