Feature Preview: What’s Coming in 2025

What a week! The PGA Show is always one of the highlights of the year for the Onform team. It’s a chance to connect with the golf community, stay up to date with industry trends, and share our latest innovations. This year, we debuted our biggest booth yet, complete with a swing station, live speakers, demo stations, and a genius bar for tech support. We talked with hundreds of coaches—some hearing about Onform for the first time, and many others who’ve been with us since the Ubersense and Hudl Technique days. The feedback we received was invaluable, and we heard some great suggestions to add to our product roadmap. Thanks to everyone that stopped by and made it the most successful show we’ve ever had! We absolutely loved spending time with everyone!

Here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming to the Onform app in 2025:

PGA Coach Partnership

• Big news! Alison Curdt, SCPGA President, announced that Onform is now the preferred video provider of PGA Coach. Starting in April, PGA members can enjoy a seamless integration between the PGA Coach app and Onform. With just a tap, coaches will be able to move between PGA Coach and Onform to access all their video analysis tools, and send videos back to PGA Coach to share if they so choose. This partnership is designed to keep both their business and video tools in one place for golf professionals to eliminate the back and forth between so many apps.

3D Visualization Tools

• Our new 3D visualization tools are a game-changer. Unlike some of our competitors, our 3D models load in seconds without the need for internet connection, and can create a 3D model from a single camera angle. You can review critical swing characteristics like hand path tracking, slide and sway, plus, you can rotate and view the swing from any angle for a detailed analysis that helps coaches pinpoint areas for improvement.

Multi-Cam Studio Solution

• Last year we introduced multi-cam recording mode, allowing coaches to capture up to four angles simultaneously. This year, we took it a step further by adding the ability to use one iPad as a control hub for the other cameras. This new feature frees up coaches to move around during lessons instead of being tied to one spot. You can even AirPlay the control iPad to a TV for a true studio experience.

Centralized Admin Tools

• For academies or facilities with multiple coaches, our new admin tools make management easier than ever. Bulk invite students, add or remove staff, and reassign students with just a few clicks. You can also create shared collections and view which students are assigned to each staff member. For academies with multiple locations, you can also create additional organizations to keep each location completely separate. 

4-Way Video Player

• Our completely re-engineered video playback experience lets you view up to four angles at once—or even incorporate our new 3D visualization tools—all in a single screen. Turn certain angles on and off, rearrange the layout in which they’re displayed, and toggle between 2D and 3D.

New Customizable Colors & Lines

• Our drawing tools now offer a full range of colors and multiple line thickness options giving you more creative freedom and control to provide the best feedback possible.

Mirror Cam

• With the new multi-cam studio solution, you can also place an iPad on the ground and watch the live feed from your iPhone down the line for instant alignment and feedback. Just set the control iPad on the ground and you’ve created your own mirror cam!

Pro Level Reference Content 

• We’re adding new professional reference content featuring Onform ambassador Sam Saunders and PGA Tour player Eric Cole. This allows coaches to compare their students’ swings to some of the best in the game. And this is just the beginning—we’ll be adding more pro content throughout the year.

We expect to release these new features later in February for all to use. Certain features like 3D and 4-way multi-cam will be part of a forthcoming PRO subscription later this Spring, priced at $499/year – still significantly cheaper than any competitor with 3D capability! We’ll share more details as we release the updates in the app.
